Tras la buena acogida que el cambio de calendario tuvo el año pasado, nuevamente celebraremos el congreso de jueves por la mañana a sábado por la tarde. Menos días fuera de casa y la misma oferta formativa
In view of the good feedback we received further to condensing our programme last year, in 2008 our Congress will again start on a Thursday morning and end on a Saturday afternoon. This means spending fewer days away from home, but enjoying the same scientific offering.

30 Cursos y talleres prácticos y participativos que se engloban en el programa CliniCardio 08. Cardiólogos, residentes, médicos de atención primaria y de familia, enfermeros, etc. obtendrán en estas sesiones una eficaz puesta al día directamente aplicable a su práctica clínica diaria.
30 practical and participative courses and workshops will be included in the CliniCardio 08 programme. Cardiologists, residents, primary-care, family-care physicians and nurses will all obtain from these sessions a useful update on the state of the art of our speciality, which they will then be able to transfer to their clinical practice.

El sábado a las 12:00 h. la sesión con más participación del Congreso. Llévate a casa lo más relevante de la cardiología europea y mundial del último año presentada por reconocidos expertos en cada tema.
This session, held on Saturday at 12 am, usually enjoys the largest turnout of all sessions in the Congress. If you attend, you will be able to take home with you the latest on the most relevant current issues in European and world cardiology as presented by leading experts in each topic.
E-Poster / E-Poster
Las sesiones de póster moderado del Congreso se presentarán bajo el nuevo formato de póster electrónico. No será necesario imprimir los pósters destinados a estas sesiones.
Poster-based debates this year will be held under the new e-poster format. It will not be necessary to print out the posters used for these sessions.
La Asamblea el jueves por la mañana / The SEC Assembly (Thursday morning)
Para que todos podáis participar, nuestra tradicional Asamblea se celebra el jueves a las 10:30 h., en un horario que coincide con pocas sesiones del Congreso.
To make sure that everyone can participate, our traditional Assembly will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am, a time at which there are few scientific sessions.

Bilbao nos recibe en 2008 completamente renovada. La que fue una importante ciudad industrial es hoy una atractiva urbe turística y de servicios. Con la mitad de los hoteles recién construidos y los clásicos establecimientos completamente renovados, todos los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de alojarse en el centro de una ciudad que se ha convertido en modelo de renovación urbanística y de llegar caminando a los numerosos restaurantes y bares de “pintxos” que han hecho famosa la gastronomía de la ciudad.
Bilbao will welcome delegates a thoroughly renewed city. The industrial city of the past has nowadays become a haven for service firms and discerning tourists from all over the world. Delegates will enjoy the opportunity to stay in a city that has become a model for urban renewal, where half the hotels have been inaugurated only recently, and the other half completely refurbished. Most hotels are in the city centre, which means that participants will be able to walk to the numerous restaurants and “pintxo bars” that have made Bilbao’s cuisine famous worldwide.
